Worship is declaring with our lips and lives that God is more important than anything else to us—that He is our deepest desire and highest satisfaction. As we assemble in public worship to meet God in His majesty and beauty, our aim is to give God the glory He is due and delight in the blessing of His promised special presence in the midst of His gathered people—all in accordance with His instructions set forth in Scripture and articulated by our Reformed heritage.

As individuals come to know Jesus Christ, we expect them to grow in their relationship with Him. Every Christian—regardless of his or her level of maturity—has an ongoing need to be nurtured and increasingly take on the character of Jesus. We believe the primary means by which God's Spirit brings us to faith and maturity is through the knowledge and application of His Holy Word. To equip God’s people for works of service and a life of obedience, we are committed to the faithful proclamation of the Scriptures, both through expository preaching and a full-bodied Christian educational ministry that informs the mind, inflames the heart, and engages the will.

A gospel-centered life is never merely individual. The gospel creates a community in which we become part of a family characterized by mutual love and support. We pray that our community will be a tangible expression of the presence of the Kingdom of God in the world—a place where the life and power of Jesus touches every area of life. To experience true growth in grace, we believe that we must develop deep fellowship with each other as God’s people, which results in mutual discipleship and ever-increasing Christ-likeness.

​By God’s grace, we have tasted the good news of forgiveness and freedom found in Jesus Christ. Good news is for sharing! We long for all people to taste God’s goodness and experience the new life He promises to those who believe in His Son. We believe that in view of Christ's compassion and command we are to maximize our lives for the sake of His gospel, proclaim the good news of salvation to all, and make disciples of those whom He calls to the praise of His glory. Compelled by His love, we seek to be salt and light in our community, a transforming influence in our culture, and a lasting witness to our nation and the world through local outreach, regional church planting, and overseas partnerships to facilitate the fulfillment of the Lord's Great Commission, thereby hastening the day of His return.

We believe strong marriages and families guided and governed by God's Word are vital to a healthy, vibrant church. We aim to create an environment where marriage is honored, children are treasured, and singleness is equally valued as we seek to live out our membership vows with love and relational integrity. Our desire is that all our relationships as an intergenerational body be pleasing to God, giving special attention to the transmission of the faith to future generations.

​We desire to show the world that the church is committed to the well-being of the society around it. We believe that the gospel has the power to transform individuals and neighborhoods through ministries of mercy, exhibiting special concern for the most vulnerable.
