There’s a first time for everything — the main thing we want you to know is that you are welcome! You will be greeted and given a bulletin to follow the order of service. Our worship service includes readings from the Bible and a sermon based upon the passage read to help you better understand its meaning and application to life centered on Jesus Christ. We believe in the power of His gospel to transform lives. Our prayer is that God will reveal Himself to you in a way you may not have known before. A full explanation of the gospel according to the Bible is available here.
We trust you will find St. John's to be a warm and welcoming community. We hope you will come worship with us.

Just the blessing of your presence with us. You will be welcomed at the front doors by friendly greeters who are glad to answer any questions you may have. We read from the Bible during our services. If you do not have one, we have Bibles available on the welcome table. We also have a gift for first-time visitors.
There is no dress code for attending services at St. John’s. While many of our members choose to dress up, others dress more casually.

St. John's worship is God-centered, and follows a liturgical style in the Reformed tradition. A printed order of worship will guide you through our service and includes the words and music of the hymns and psalms. We strive to bring God glory through worship that is honoring to Him as we lift our hearts in song, hear His Word preached, participate in the sacraments, pray to our Father in heaven, and enjoy fellowship with His people.
We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month. Our elders and deacons serve the elements to the congregation. Both wine and grape juice are offered.

We offer Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:15 a.m., including children (pre-K through elementary), youth (middle school/high school), and adults. Our children and youth ministries are designed to meet your children where they are as they grow in their relationship with Jesus. To enter the Sunday School area, use the Auditorium side doors to the left of the main entrance. Greeters are on hand to direct you to the appropriate rooms.
For those interested in learning more about St. John's and church membership, Pastor Cavalli holds a four-week Discovery Class at scheduled times of the year based on demand. This is a perfect way to hear our story, learn about our vision and values, and discover how you can participate in what God is doing at St. John’s.

We provide a safe, secure, and loving nursery for children ages 3 and under during our morning worship service. All volunteers are required to pass a background check, and the room is always staffed by at least two adults. Parents are welcome to keep their children with them during the service also, though we encourage those with young children to sit near the back so they can easily step out if the need arises.
Children age 4 and older are encouraged to sit with their families during worship. Since “faith comes by hearing” (Romans 10:17), we want our children to benefit from hearing God’s Word as it is preached, sung, and prayed. So much of what children learn is both taught and caught. We believe it is vital that children discover how to worship at their parents’ side as they model it for them and as they are gently guided during the service.
